I used Illamasqua’s Monogamous Nail Varnish as my base then used cellotape to create the triangles. I used Accessorize Metalize nail polish in Copper and Jewel.

I then used a thin brush and a black the line the edges.

Stay creative,

So for ages I have been looking for the perfect nude nail polish. I have searched high and low but never found anything that was the shade I wanted, most are either too brown or a strange shade of grey. That is, until Illamasqua released their new Naked Strangers Collection a range of beautiful nudes and accompanying tones. Within it was the Nail Varnish in Monogamous, described on the website as a ‘Creamy Flesh Pink’ this is the most beautiful (as nail polish can be) shade of nude I have seen! So of course I had to buy it and what can I say, I think I’m in love.
THE LOWDOWN
PRICE- £13.50 This seems quite steep for a nail varnish however I think it is fairly reasonable as the bottle is larger and contains more than most other nail varnishes
QUANTITY- 15ml / 0.5 FL OZ The same amount as most high end nail varnishes, which is great because I know I will be using it a lot!
SHADE- Nude Personally, I would describe the shade as a creamy peach tone which is more pinky than beige
FINISH- Matte This particular nail varnish has a matte finish which is perfect to give the best muted nude as you can always gloss it up with a top coat!

The varnish goes on the nail smoothly, it is opaque, but not totally as you need two coats to create a solid colour. I love the matte finish to it because it allows you to have it matte or glossy depending on your preference (you can add a top coat to create gloss) The chip-resistant formula is great, I have had mine on for 5 days now and there are no chips! The nearest dupe I found to this colour is MAC’s Abalone Shell which was part of their Spring Colour Forecast a couple of years back and apart from that I’m not sure of a colour similar. However, why would you need one when you could own this beauty!

OVERALL
I would definitely recommend this nail varnish, I think you get decent value for money and the product is great. For anyone who wants a beautiful nude- this is it!
