Kryolan Nail Color in GRACEFUL

I am absolutely in LOVE with this colour!! I don’t really know how to describe it- a kind of pale turquoise maybe? But it looks so beautiful!

I really am a huge fan of Kryolan products so was definitely excited to try their nail products.

I really love this colour however the product was slightly disappointing. The formula is very thin and quite streaky meaning I needed 3 thick coats to get the block colour you see in the pictures. Even then I still feel as if it could do with another.

Despite this fact- did I mention the colour!? Its just sooo pretttyyyy!!

In sunlight

It dries with a nice glossy finish and I think it would look just FAB with some black half moons!

You get 11ml of product which is a fair amount.

Stunning cover from Vogue April 1940!
The issue is about how ‘The Vogue woman is instructed on how to handle welcoming back her husband home for leave from the war: “He likes to spend some evenings quietly at home; comfortable chairs; easy, idle talk. You in a dress with a sweeping feminine skirt and gentle colours: Worth’s dinner dress – the skirt in linen, plaided blue, pink and magenta; the bodice in lilac angora discreetly banded with amethyst stones and sequins.”
It cost Two Shillings!

Nail Fun!

Had fun doing these nails yesterday, I’m not a nail technician so they are far from perfect but it just shows how easy it can be!

I USED:

Barry M- 295 Turquoise

Rio Nail Art Pens- White

Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours- Paparazzi

HOW TO CREATE THESE NAILS:

 • Paint the whole nail with Barry M Turquoise and wait for it to dry fully. You may need 2 coats.
 • Using Miss Sporty in Paparazzi, paint the tip of your nail starting from the edge and sweeping inwards and upwards in a backwards ‘C’ shape.
 • Do this for both sides to create the curved shape.
 • Once this has dried (and here’s the tricky part) using the White Rio Nail Art Pen go over the edge. This can be difficult, especially on your non-writing hand! I found it easier to start from the centre and drag outwards.

Simple and easy! This looks really effective and you can use any colours to create your design.

Claires Glitter Nail Varnish!

I bought this nail varnish the other because it caught my eye and I just LOVE it! It is a light pink glitter with holographic silver pieces.

I painted it over the top of Barry M’s Berry Ice Cream and used 2 coats, however because the glitter is so fine I think extra coats are needed to cover the whole nail.

I tried really hard to get a picture of the amazing sparkles on the nails but my camera wouldn’t pick it up unless the picture was blurred, but at least you can see what it looks like!

(Sorry about my garden in the background haha)

For £2.50 this nail varnish is an absolute BARGAIN! I also noticed that Claire’s have loads of glitter varnishes in different colours so I think I will definitely go back and buy some more!

Available in Claire’s stores.

BARRY M GLITTER NAIL POLISH
I am in love with this nail varnish, it is amazing!! The picture is really rubbish but my nails are block glitter and multi-dimensional, its FAB! I firstly applied a red base coat, I don’t think it matters which brand or shade its just to give the glitter a background. I did 2 coats of plain red and then 2 coats of the Barry M Glitter and finally applied a clear top coat to give more dazzle. I have had it on for 3 days now and haven’t even got 1 chip, which is rare!! I would recommend you all buy it because for £2.99 it is a major bargain!
It is available in Superdrug stores and online here.
